Bob, The EPA forced GM not to sell anymore "Big Block" Chevy's past 12-31-11 due to they cannot pass EPA Standards. Everyone who owns a "Big Block" Chevy is Grandfathered In by the EPA which means we can run our motors until until they won't run anymore. I'm like you a "Big Block Chevy Guy". This engine IMHO is way better than the V-10 Triton, I owned in my last coach. I can't give you any information on Chevy's next "Big Block" they were to partner up with another company in the near future to produce a larger motor for Workhorse and take back there market share? I haven't heard anything from GM about that in about 6 months. The brake recall, which is hijacking your thread was a mistake by Bosch not Workhorse! I owned at that time and still due a 04 Adventurer (Winnebagos top of the line gas coach in 04) I had very little trouble with my coaches brakes, went in for a complete reline before the recall and Bosch paid everything in full. I love my 8.1 with the Allison!
