Have you ever looked at the steering axle under one of those "big tractor trucks"? Lots heavier than the steer axle under the Miata!! And if you put the rear axle on the tow dolly, you are transfering more added weight to the steering axle, plus the wheels are now castered the wrong direction. And have you ever seen the size of a steering lock pall on the Miata??? Purely a recipe for a disaster waiting to happen.
