I keep our ReadyBrute towbar attached since most of the time we're on the road, we're towing. And when not on the road, the RV is in a locked steel barn. I have a locking pin for both the tow-bar-to-motorhome as well as for the tow-bar-to-car attachment point. If I'm going to be driving the RV a long distance without a toad, I'll put the tow bar in a basement bay but that happens rarely. The bar stays attached to the RV when we are at a campsite.
