Leaving tow bars attached to motorhome for flat towing

I too was concerned about theft and purchased the locking style pin. Upon installation I was concerned that the pin diameter reduction where the locking clamp worked was sufficient to weaken the pin to point of eventual failure. I can handle a used blue ox tow bar theft easier than a failed hitch assembly while doing 60. Went back to the original pin for daily use
