LED bulb identification

Can't find a number on them. They are in small circular recessed lights throughout the coach. 2009 Itasca

In a 09 I'd guess it's a two pin G4. More recently there are a bunch of different style recessed LED lights.
  • I agree with ivylog probably a G4 LED. Keep in mind LEDs come in different shades of white from warm white to bright white depending on kelvin temp. Plus you need something in approx the same brightness. Also in many ads you will see the actual size of the LED listed such 3030 or 5050. (3mm by 3mm or 5mm by 5mm) and amount of LEDs on the disc. No easy solution since many of the LEDs have no markings that can be read. JMHO.

Over the last five years I've tried various G4 LED's with this one being the best I've found for under the counter. I just tried one of these G4 LED in the ceiling where they look more like the halogen that came in the MH. Not sure they are worth twice the price as the light output is much the same.
I've had very good luck with the cheap ones from China and do not understand why you would pay as much as 10 times for one from a US seller.
  • Good information--I want to replace the incandescent lights in my rig with LED's soon.
