LED bulb JC4 or B4 or G4

Purchased some LED from local store, she told me that the 3.5 W was the brightest made. Looking on Amazon they have others for half the price of what I paid.I

have JC4 12V 3.5 W . Internet sells them as B4. The box they came in says G4/bipin base. I see some that are a higher wattage. Advice please.

Well, the G4 12 SMD 5730 LED arrived and they are not any brighter than the 12/5050 that I still like the best. Like the 3630 I've also tried, the 5730 run much hotter than the 5050... 175+ degrees.

I have replaced all my interior motorhome lights with lights I bought on eBay. I used lights with 18 5050 LEDs. 24 5050s would be brighter. Don't think you will beat the eBay price.

I bought mine 2-3 years ago, there are newer LED now, don't know anything about them but I bet the best prices are still on eBay.

I was in CW yesterday and LED lights like I purchased at local store were 12 dollars each. The few I replaced in the hallway emit a different light, I like it.

I've had good luck with the G4 12 SMD 5050 LED 3W (less than $1 on Ebay) but I've ordered some G4 12 SMD 5730 LED 4W ($1.70) to see how much brighter they will be... have not arrived yet.

My puck lights are too small to try ones with 15 LEDs. Try several different ones to see which you like the best... I like the warm white for inside and bright white for outside. Amazon wants $4.50 for the same 5730's.

Will try and remember to report back here with the results of the 5730's.
