I seem to always have bad bulbs on my trailers so I went to LED just for the piece of mind.
As far as an RV, its not going to save you any money other than the fact you won't have to replace them probably for the life of the RV. One thing to be aware of is older RV's use a flasher circuit that requires a certain amount of current draw from the bulb to create the flashing of turn signals. LED's do not have enough current draw to make this happen so you may need to replace the flasher with a electronic one.
