It really boils down to bank financing or pay cash. If you pay cash, you can form a Delaware Corporation and have the Corporation own it in California, with no tax. If you finance, most Lenders will Title it in your personal name, and you will be required to pay sales tax. Your best move would be to consult a Tax expert or Attorney.
