- HeapieExplorerSeeing as we are talking about VW Campers. For ten years while I was a college teacher, I had a VW bus that was turned into a camper by taking out the middle seat, adding a plywood floor carpeted with an old piece of carpet, a J.C. Whitney table (Table was an old cabinet door from a kitchen, and an old kitchen cabinet. The bed was a piece of foam with a piece of cloth safety pined to it. Some jerk ran into it.
I next bought a used 1980 Vanagon camper. What great memories. Problem with the Vanagon. It was the first year with the big box. Engine was the old air cooled. Blew four engines and sold it for $300.00 to the guy who fixed it. He gave it to his employee who fixed it up and drove it from Massachusetts to California and back. What wonderful memories I have.
After twenty years in the Inn business on Nantucket, I bought a 2002 Roadtrek. Can't wait to use it. - CaseyontheroadExplorerThat looks great, Arizona Kid! Have you decided where you're going on your first trip? :B

- CaseyontheroadExplorerSanta brought me the T1 model not long after it was released. It's a fun build and the details really are very well done. Some of my other "Creator" models are considerably larger and more impressive but the T1 is what people (adults) want to play with when they come to visit. :B
The small version was Lego's October give-away. - admiral0647Explorer
