Thanks all for response.
Anyone have tow bar model#, pictures and approximate costs of installation for a complete set up. I assume there are some electronics and braking systems/lights that must be included to get Jeep rigged to be a TOAD.
We purchased the Roadmaster Falcon 2 All-Terrain Tow Bar #522. We like that tow bar because you don't have to have the Jeep level with the Motor Home to attach the bar, it's got some play and is forgiving. It's a very sturdy towbar as well.
With that purchase we included the Falcon 2 Tow Bar accessory kit, which set us up for wiring.
Finally, we had the Roadmaster bracket kit #521424-5 installed on the front of our 2004 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. We chose that kit because it does not hamper our approach angle to obstacles when we use the jeep for off-roading.
We have been very pleased with the entire set-up. Installation of the accessory kit and bracket cost $203.00.
We do also use a BrakeBuddy portable auxiliary braking system as well.
