Liner hose inside drain pipe from kitchen sink?
Is there supposed to be a liner hose inside the drain pipe from the kitchen sink?
In this case, it is a 2017 Coachmen Leprechaun 22'.
My friend asked me to take a look at the kitchen sink, saying there was something stuck in the drain. To me, it looked like a piece of noodle. I used dental tools to get ahold of it and try to pull it back out, but some tore off, which turned out to be some sort of heavy latex-like material.
So I went under the sink and removed the top portion of the drain pipe and found that the drain pipe has some sort of liner hose running through it.
The top of the liner hose is not attached to anything and it is not the full inner diameter of the drain pipe. So water draining from the sink is free-flowing through both the liner and the drain pipe.
Is it me or is this unusual?
Thank you for your thoughts.
