Listing Brand New B+ Motorhomes For Less Than $100k

My brother is looking for a new B+ motorhome with a selling price less than $100k. He wants a ~30 foot walk-around rear double/queen bed in back, and a couch & dinette across each other up front. Ideally it would have just one slide out located up front on the driver side, but the bedroom in back could also have a slide out as long as the bed can be slept on with the slide out pulled-in.
  • Ron,

Those two floorplans above both show a "CAB-OVER BUNK" ... plus that area looks long enough to extend well over the cab's roof.

Those sure are coming awfully close to anyone's definition of a "Class C" - not a "Class B+"!

(Now, if the designers could only compress that lower slide-less floorplan into ~24 feet - plus swivel the passenger's seat they'd really have something.)
  • I did a quick search on "motorhome floorplans" and found what I think my brother would consider ideal, but in a B+ seamless no-overhang frontal area, with an entertainment system located there. This floor plan looks good with and without the slideout, I wonder if he would consider the lower floorplan with no slide outs.

  • My Leprechaun (see sig) fits the bill but it has a real queen bed that has real walking room on one side of the bed towards the head. It also has great counter space by the kitchen.

It is technically not a B+ because behind the entertainment center there is lots of storage behind the TV.
  • I have a 30 ft. itasca Cambria. It has a dinette on a slide behind the driver but opposite of the dinette is the sink and stove, then the fridge. I saw a coach that had the stove etc. on the same side of the dinette which I thought was nice but then you have the bathroom to deal with.
My RV queen can be slept in without the slide out but only if I am solo. Once the bed is in the travel position it goes slightly under the wardrobe/drawer area. Solo is possible because I sleep a little sideways. As far as a walk around bed, if I shuffle my feet sideways I can get around the other side. I think a double slide in the front with a couch was the floor plan I liked but it may have been longer than a 30.
Sounds like a nice rig, hope he finds one, keep us posted.
  • BT Cruiser?
5291 would fit but it has 3 slides. Saw one locally, new for $75k out the door.
