Lithium battery and 2000w inverter

I have the opportunity to acquire both. We only hit the road for week, two week stints and stay pretty much to shore power. Would it make sense to spend the install cost? My 2008 has a battery drawer with 2 lead acid and I would want to replace those with a lithium battery and a Xantrex 2000 inverter. Does it make $ sense?
  • What do you hope to power with the inverter? We have a 2,000 watt inverter to power our residential refrigerator when we're not plugged into shore power. We also have two 100AH LiFePO4 batteries to power the inverter and a 300 watt solar panel (with solar charge controller) to recharge the batteries during travel. It's a well-balanced setup - but not enough battery capacity nor solar for anything more than long travel days or power outages at a park or campground.

    I would suggest 2 Li or 2 SiO2 batteries. (total 200 amp-hours)

    One 100 amp-hour is not going to run a 2000 watt inverter for more than about 30 minutes.

    Since you are rarely off-grid I would skip it.
