All who have written to help two old gals new to RVing,
Thanks to all of you who have given us positive feedback. We left Dallas on the first leg of our trip after having gotten the genset to run without changing the fuel filter. After seven hours on the road we were just outside Amarillo, TX when the genset quit. Cummins/Onan has been working on it for about five hours and have replaced temperature sensor and genset fan belt. Since the problem still exists, we are going back for another round of repair today. A new radiator is what goes in next. Hopefully we will be back on the road today. Didn't know the genset "threw a code" which indicates the cause of its problems when it won't run. What a great thing to know!
Anyway, it was overheating and not fuel starvation that caused it to stop running this time.
Guess we never stop learning new things as long as we don't give up and sit down and let the world go by.
