Can't directly answer your question, but I can add to the previous poster. I went the opposite direction from you. First motorhome was a Rexhall with one slide. Queen bed in the back with the head of the bed toward the rear of the motorhome. It was liveable, but the space between the bed and the wall was very tight and hard to move around in and make the bed. Next motorhome had three slides with the bedroom slide as you described blocking access to the back closet and cabinet. It really hasn't been that much of a problem. It's a short slide so it opens really easy and when open gives so much more room in the bedroom to move around and make up the bed. Yeah, I've climbed over the bed a few times to get to the closet but to me the extra space when open was worth the blocked access.
