Looking for a motorhome

We are looking to trade our TT for a motorhome. Our current 31' TT limits our ability to visit the places we like to go. We are looking to get something in the 22-24 foot range.

The cab over bunk is a requirement. I would like a U-shaped dinette. DW would like a walk around bed and bathroom with the sink in it rather than outside the door.

I like the Mercedes chassis but it's very difficult to find one that meets the above criteria. There are Fords aplenty but floor plans vary. Not sure if the Mercedes would be worth the investment.

We have looked at several brands but can't decipher the better brand to buy. Thor has a nice floor plan but the reviews I've found online aren't enticing me to buy one. I really like the Jayco one piece front cap. According to their promotional video they are the only ones to offer one. Are there any other brands that offer a one piece cap? The salesman advised Jayco has the least amount of problems and the best repair program for warranty related issues. Has anyone else had this experience? Any feedback on the Thor?
  • If you are looking at new models the Coachman Freelander has one of the shortest "walk around" queen bed models I've ever seen other than the Views and Navions with the folding rear bed. 21RS Actual length is 24'3". Can get it with a 350 or 450 chassis.

I don't think you will find a walk around bed in a 24' unit. There are other brands with a one piece front cap but I don't recall all the ones that do, at least Phoenix Cruiser and Coach House.
    our 24' F.R. Sunseeker 2250 has a slideout w/ a walkaround queen bed.
