Looking for a preowned Class C

Three things to look for.

1. look for leaks.
2. look harder for leaks.
3. LOOK EVEN HARDER FOR LEAKS.

Pretty much everything else can be fixed.

I don't know about good deals, but rvtrader.com is kind of the goto website for finding specific RVs.

Some of the best deals I've seen have been repossessed units. We bought our Four Winds from a bank through a local repo agent years ago and got what I considered a good deal. Problem with this is that you don't get to select what someone else didn't pay for, so you might have a tough time finding a particular unit. Repos are also often shall we say distressed by their previous owners. Ours wasn't, but many are.

You might try the Rental Market there you will get a good deal and a well maintained RV.

El Monte RV have a lot of Thor Fourwinds along with many other choices like the Coachman Leprechaun that may suit your needs at a very fair price.

Four Winds are commonly used as rental units because they're like Timex watches. At least that's what a salesman told me about 10 years ago.

If you don't need to finance, you may get a better price from a private party selling due to health problems, etc. Best to pay a pro truck mechanic and an RV repair service to inspect and give written estimate for truck and house box fixes and repairs needed. Tires over 5 years old may need replacing.

look at craigslist from all over the state. Bought ours off CL saved over 30K over a new one plus since private seller no sales taxes. It was a 12 model we bought in 13, 4000miles on it 25 gen hours. Just be sure to really look at whatever we drove from tucson to prescott to check it out 1st put a down payment to hold and then picked up 10 days later.

They are out there just have to look, our is a winnebago aspect (B+) as I did not want a over cab sail since its just the 2 of us. Also will depend on how old you will go so do some looking all over 1st, then look at neighbor states, NM, colo,ut etc.
