Looking for a preowned Class C

Hello Fellow travelers!

We are looking to buy a preowned Class C RV. Our ideal RV is a Thor Four Winds 27R because of the ceiling height and king sized bed. We are certainly open to others but want around 25- 27 foot, high interior ceilings, dinette and a chair or small couch.

I am looking for advice on good web sites that offer good deals on preowned rigs and any suggestions on the type of RV.

    I don't know about good deals, but rvtrader.com is kind of the goto website for finding specific RVs.

    Some of the best deals I've seen have been repossessed units. We bought our Four Winds from a bank through a local repo agent years ago and got what I considered a good deal. Problem with this is that you don't get to select what someone else didn't pay for, so you might have a tough time finding a particular unit. Repos are also often shall we say distressed by their previous owners. Ours wasn't, but many are.

    Three things to look for.

    1. look for leaks.
    2. look harder for leaks.
    3. LOOK EVEN HARDER FOR LEAKS.

    Pretty much everything else can be fixed.
