Well Sir, take a look at what I did. I've kind of, specialized in "compartmentation". I did it as an overtime assignment while being a fireman for 30 years. We'd accept new fire trucks and, it was my job to outfit them and prepare them for service. Anyway, that spilled over into my private life. On the handle end is a spring loaded "clamp" that captures the handle. On the other end, is a small loop that the tip or, close to the tip just sits in. Both are mounted via screws to the back wall of the compartment. Take a look and see what you think.
