Looking for furniture covers for Winnebago Sightseer 35G

We recently purchased a 2014 Winnebago Sightseer 35G and we love it. Our traveling buddies are two golden retrievers and we are worried about the scratching up the new leather furniture. Does anyone know where to purchase furniture covers for Winnebago furniture?

Also, the Sightseer 35G has a couch that expands to a U shape, are there any ideas on how best to cover this sofa? Right now, we are using multiple sheets but would like to find something better to cover this couch.

Thanks,

Tanya
  • Our dealer has a 2013 model with a king bed, white interior and the light khaki outside paint the washer dryer. It has some mileage on it. They didn't want what we offered. There was another one in Iowa but it sold pretty fast. We are now working with a dealer there in iowa.
Our last rig was a class c -fairly old but we loved it. I don't see a real need for the washer dryer either but my hubs likes the idea, and with a young son it may be handy. Anyone with a rig with washer and dryer- pros/cons?
I haven't compared the tax difference and will mention that to my husband. Sunday my oldest son and I will go look again at the rig at our local dealer, as he hasn't seen it yet and we will make some more comparisons.
  • We may have found the one for us- has all the features we want. One Question for you rontabby- do you have the serius satellite? does it work on the outside entertainment center?
  • Just about any pet cover, home made throw or store bought version may work. The thing about ultra leather or real leather furniture is it's firm and slippery so covers typically will slide off easily unless you really tie them on tightly. One way to help is to 1st cover the furniture with a rug gripper to keep the fabric cover from sliding on the leather.
  • We are thinking about a sightseer 35g but are worried about the white leather holding up. I've only seen photos of the 35g, but most of them have what looks like white leather, is it really white? Do you think it's going to mark and wear poorly?
  • Been awhile since I have remembered to get back on this site. It has been a busy summer so far using the RV. We are so happy with the choice. We have found no problems with th3 35G.

mernmb - We did not get the satellite system since we are in Alaska. Satellite TV works up here but the angle is really weird and we did not want to deal with it. We bought a BluRay player and attached it to the TV. When we don't get any TV channels we watch videos.

kwilkins - The fabric is not super white. It is more off-white or tan.

We finally had a chance to try the washer and dryer this weekend. It worked really well but uses a lot of water. We will only use it when we are at a place with full hookups unless it is an emergency.

We still have not found couch covers yet. My friend that was going to make them had shingles and still is not back to 100% yet. I am going to try sewing some elastic banding on to one of the surefit pet covers and hope that might work for the center part of the couch. I am still not sure about the side portions. The "X" marks the portions that extend out, making the U-shaped couch.

  • rontabby not sure if you get back on this site anymore- I guess I don't much either. We ended up not get the 35g, found a 43ft 2002 Monaco Signature instead. We love it. We have often wondered if we would be as happy with the 35g. So Now that you have had yours for a while- still happy? Hope you are enjoying all your travels. Our golden retriever is now 3 yrs old and though he was nervous at first, he's now a seasoned traveler. I could use a better vacuum cleaner though- boy he sheds. Oh well. Happy travels
