The MCD is 'head & shoulders' above anything else I looked at before going to TX and having windshield & Driver & Co-pilot shades installed.
To save a few bucks, you can do the 'manual' option (which I did for the two sides), but the ease of just pushing a button to get the sunscreen down (when headed West in the afternoon) and the simple up/down for the enclosure curtains made it well worth while for us.
(Yes, we are making our 'older' (16 years) coach more comfortable for us with some 'updates', but it is MUCH LESS expensive than a newer coach with the same basic facilities and capabilities!!)
So..to answer the original question:
NO...the other options that cost less than MCD are just not good value!
