I am looking for a NASCAR track in the southeast where you can park your Class A at an elevation above the track to watch the race. We use to go to Darlington and stay in the infield. Too old to sit on top of MH anymore. I have seen these locations on TV but can't remember where they were. Don't wanna sit in the stands. Any suggestions?

Martinsville for sure but since its a half mile you may not get a spot next to the track. People pull there units in line as much as a week before the race. I'd call first. I think all the others are infeld.

Martinsville and Atlanta, Texas also. Texas actually removed backstretch seating to create the new spots. I think the TMS spots go for more than a grand or two for the week.

Know what you mean! We stay home and watch on TV now. Not in the Southeast but: Las Vegas, New Hampshire, Pocono, Sonoma, Martinsville? Bet those spots overlooking the track will be hard to get!

It's not the southeast but in the northeast New Hampshire Motor Speedway has just what you're looking for on the back stretch. We used to have a reserved spot there in the second row. It was 50 steps to our lawn chairs. Those in the front row could easily watch from their MH.

Talladega Superspeedway has elevated backstretch motorcoach parking. Apply now and a spot may open up in the next 5 years. Oh, the current race weekend parking fee for one of these sites is $3,800 + I believe.

Hey Robert, good to hear from you again hope you had a good race season? Don't forget when you finally come out West to PIR (Phoenix) plenty of RV Camping on the track site and a supermarket on the campgrounds. All you'll need is ear plugs, sunglasses and suntan lotion!

Was just looking at Chicagoland Speedway this morning. $2000 for the weekend. Wed thru Sun with electric for ackstretch overlooking the track.
