Well, you may want to check out "Foremost Insurance Company." We've had our first and present coach insured with them since 1995.Our experience with them has been great over the years with prompt, no hassle claim service at a reasonable premium of $691.00 annually for full coverage with $250.00 deductible.Of course our coach is 13 years old, so premium on a newer coach would probably be higher.Good luck with your search and safe travels.... :)

WE had Progressive for 10 years and the premiums went up every year. I assumed it was because we had moved up to more expensive coaches. We're had the last coach five years and the premiums went up 50% with the only claim being $70 to fix a windshield chip. When I received this years notice, it was up another 40% due, they said, to my wife having a chargable accident. Ten days and lots of faxes and phone calls later, they agreed their data was incorrect and lowerd the premium to ONLY a 20% increase over the previous year. I went with Forrmost, a Farmers company. Premium was 40% lower than Progressive's "adjusted" rate, higher coverage and included road service and towing.

If your coach sets for an extended period of time with non-use (winter), you might want to look into those companies that offer a "storage" feature to their premiums. We have ours through Good Sam GMAC and since our coach sets from Oct to May, the only coverage is for comprehensive. Also, when we use the coach from May through Oct, our other three vehicles are in storage in our garage and only comprehensive is on them during that time. Be surprise how much money this saves.Ron

I had enough with Progressive so I switch to Bluesky RV insurance. I am glad I did. Sure save me alot of money.

Is there a difference, except in advertizing such in order to charge more? Hey, they run your VIN no. and price it accordingly. Same o, same o, unless they'll give you a new rig in place of your old one with full coverage and that can't be cheap, if there is such a thing. If so, then why not get it on your cars as well?

PoliSeek is a broker and they us a bunch of companies.

USAA sends their rv policy folks to Progressive.

Its not only Flo that raises rates, If you dont shop them near your renewal time, its shame on you for paying the increased rate without doing some comparison. I recently did the due diligence and compared 5 companies. I got rates from $855 to $2130 for identical coverages.

You got that right, as most companies offer their best rates to new customers only, so yes, it's usually an every 3 year thing.

Ask yourself this question.......if its cheap will the service when you need them be the same way. Cheap rates are great until you have to use it.

About five weeks ago I had an inside dual blow out while about 70 miles from home in the central valley of California about 15 miles from the nearest small town. .

I called CSAA and two tow trucks showed up within about a half hour. The small one replaced the tire with a new Michelin XRV which is what I requested and then the BIG tow truck towed my coach to Fresno (about 70 miles)and dropped it by the dealer.

I had to pay the two tow trucks a total of about $1,866. CSAA reimbursed me completely, minus the cost of the new tire.

Next came the repair of the muffler system and entire wiring harness for all the controls in the RV which got ripped out when the tire exploded. The local Workhorse dealer estimated 70 hours of repair and CSAA already sent them a check for about $10,400 to cover all the repairs.

You never know what an insurance company is going to do until you have a claim.

I couldn't be happier!!! So I'd recommend CSAA. I don't know what the premium is and I don't care. They've earned my business.

I went with state farm the last time around the block for the best price and same coverage.
