Of course, if you have a need for more than 2 people then the extra seat would be of value. We ended up choosing a unit with a bunk bed (instead of more cabinet space) for eventual use with our grandson. We use the space for storing big items that won't fit anywhere else like a gas grill, table and chairs,
The Pursuit seats 5 comfortably (only 4 seatbelts though) without the 3rd seat and it still has more "moving around space" than any other B we saw. It was the only B my wife would consider (because of the real shower).
Keep in mind that we started out wanting a class A. It is a true testament to the space/layout of the Pursuit that we are able to be happy in a 22 footer.
