Bob,
Was this fix referring to your basement doors, or your main entry door?
My weather stripping has now "rolled in" all the way around the door, and it's very difficult to close, so it's moved up to the top of my list now.
Jim
Jim, the weather stripping I referred to was for the outside compartment basement doors.
Speaking of the main entry door, it started catching as we closed the door. Ends up the heads on some of the rivets that holds the door to the frame had come off. Mostly up toward the top. This caused the door to sag and catch on the bottom. I drilled the bad rivets out and used some good stainless steel sheet metal screws to pull them back to the frame. So far so good.
Not sure if this will help but take a look at this web site for some weather stripping. They appear to have some good choices for stick-on weather strip. Much better then what you can get at Home Depot/Lowes, etc. When you get to the web page click on the "Peel-n-Stick" logo towards the center. Weather Stip - bricotExplorer

Hey Gary - did you get your bathroom faucet leak fixed??? :)
WIND SENSOR ... we had ours replaced a few years back, and have yet to see it go in by itself, we've even seen it billow up and it still doesn't go in. Before then it was so sensitive that if it were a windy day it would constantly go in. We've told our service center that it's not working right, and they keep telling us that they've tested it and it works. So, now if we leave - in goes the awning, regardless if it's a windy day or not ... so frustrating!!! :M

Ours didn't used to work very well until we had the awning replaced (the wrong size from the factory fiasco mentioned way back in this thread), works pretty good now, if anything it is a little on the sensitive side. We'll see if that changes with the new one, still need to call back to the dealer and find out about the control box being a matched set to the sensor someone mentioned. - dkingdoeExplorer

I have a slow leak in the bathroom sink faucet. Its the 2 knob 4" type with the inverted U shaped faucet. When I remove the covers on the knobs I do not see anything I could tighten. Anyone figure this one out?
Thanks, Gary
Gary - we had this same leak with the bathroom sink faucet and I thought the same thing until I was talking to my brother in law and he looked at ours. You gotta keep going - there's a seal that you need to replace. We got a replacement at Lowe's - it worked. Good Luck!!

Are you replacing it because it doesn't open all the time when you open the outer door?
May be putting our PA up for sale...gonna be hard to do.
Hi bricot, long time since we chatted. Sorry to hear you may be turning your Pace loose as I've watched you put a lot of goodies in it. I'm sure you've got it runing really sweet. Hope all is well.
Yea I'v had that problem you discribed on not opening but was able to fix it. The inside handle has worn on the pivot to where it flops around and sometimes binds. Like a previous poster said they are fairly common and of all things Fleetwood Parts stocks them and beats the dealers and others price including shipping.
Ps. thanks Fry guy

Ya, in the process of buying a farm, will wind up getting a truck again, at the point I have that, probably be smart to look at 5th wheel. Of course we'll see how the market is, not going to give it away.
Just got it back from the shop, having a few little things done, but holy cow have you had to replace your wind sensor for the awning? There goes $530...
Had my wind sensor replaced 3 times under warranty. I still don't trust it and have not relied on the thing since last time it was replaced. Second time was dealers fault as they only replaced the top wind sensor and both the control box and the sensor are a matchd pair and need replaced together. According to A&E.
Hey! haven't you heard, a farms a lot of hard work and most want you there 24/7. Anyway that's the way I remember it growing up on one.
Good luck, take care.

I only use the sensor as a safety, if we head to the lake and its calm, i have the sensor on in case it starts blowing before we get back. If its windy, I just roll it up. Interesting info on the control box, I'll have to check to see if they replaced both!
Gonna put in Filberts (hazelnuts), mostly just let them grow, don't want to be strapped to farm with animals or a crop that's picked in the summer and your told when to pick. - ParrotguyExplorerI don't use the wind sensor because it is too sensitive. If its windy I roll it up.
Speaking of repairs, I had to replace the electric step module - not the steps themselves - just the motor, gear box, and control unit. $525. Camping World is starting to get outrageous on the labor charges.
My windows are really bad and getting worse daily. I can't let it go any longer and the coach would be unsaleable as is anyway. Anyone priced replacements? - FreshAirExplorer

That's almost next on my list...right after my Kingdome issues are resolved :) - FreshAirExplorer
