- wa0mqeExplorerHere's what I did for the very problem you mention. I posted this once before, but I couldn't find it so I'll show the photo's again. It blocks the reflection coming from the windshield so it doesn't hit the side window. I was going to do the same to the right hand side but it hasn't been as big of an issue as the drivers side.
This is a piece of semi-rigid plastic. About 1/16" thick.
Another angle.
These two show the angle while sitting in the drivers seat, and as you can see it's more or less invisible as far as obstructing your view. I attached it to the screws in the window frame. I played around with it to get the angle just right so when in the drivers seat your looking straight at the edge, hence it becomes invisible.
Hope this helps. - R2DillonExplorerI will post a picture after I get back. In regards to the lexan, I angle the lexan so it is edge on to me. The objective is to stop the front window light from reaching the side glass and creating a reflection.
- LobstahExplorerthat's why I'm wondering about an antiglare film...
Something like this, in the 24" model:

They're $40/ea. Might check eBay. 3M makes some anti glare film as well.

Thought about the lexan. It only bothers me when I'm trying to back at night, and the lights are just right...makes it almost impossible to see the mirrors...

Yes, its bad, I have to turn off the headlights and it helps a little. At time it makes you see things that aren't really there... refelections from elsewhere. - LobstahExplorerThat's exactly what I was looking for...must have been looking in the wrong place on the wrong side :)
Thanks... - Jim_BakkerExplorer

couldn't see how to remove the drawer without taking the screws out that attach the slide to the side of the drawer.
Am I missing something? All other slides I've ever dealt with had a little latch/tab/button you could push that let you pull the slide out off the rail...
Pull the drawer all the way out to expose a small black lever on each slide. The lever on one side moves up, the other lever moves down. Press the levers and continue pulling the drawer out to release it from the slide mechanism. - LobstahExplorer

Does anyone else have trouble with the two trays on the passenger's side of the dash opening up on bumpy roads?.....Tried looking inside to see if there was a way to tighten the detent to hold them closed, didn't see anyting.
I had good luck solving this problem by removing the drawers and squeezing the end of the slide mechanism attached to the drawer. Use pliers, and squeeze the open end a bit tighter together.
Jim,
I took a quick look yesterday, and couldn't see how to remove the drawer without taking the screws out that attach the slide to the side of the drawer.

On the glare, I used smoke lexan, a hinge and rubber suction cups to make a movable screen to block the light from the front window.
Could you post a picture or a diagram? - Jim_BakkerExplorer
