- seatecExplorerDCbrewer, does your pace lean towards one side in the front like mine does?
Good luck wiht your repairs. Mine is in the shop right now. - dcbrewerExplorerWell, We took our 06 Pace Arrow back to Dealer Monday, it has developed a crack in front end cap, running from top right hand corner of windshield opening, about 4 inches long. Also on back left corner at top of back cap, has started cracking or paint is cracking. Will see what Dealer and Fleetwood has to say.
- Cathy_JohansenExplorerI need some more help.
I am interested in making some shelves for my Pace Arrow, 2004, 37C. I think the wood is alder and the finish is “Windsor Birch”. Has anyone been able to match the stain? Is there a Minwax or some brand stain that will match? Otherwise, I may have to mix some colors to try and get a close match.
Thanks,
Mel - seatecExplorerThanx for the info pat
- FreshAirExplorerSeatec, Fleetwood customer service # is 800-322-8216. Have your identification number handy. It's the last 7 digits of your Vin #. From experience, you should log your every concern/problem to the customer service dept. as well as to the dealer.
I have also experienced many of your problems. Our Cherry Wood coating on one cabinet door is in for service now.
Pat - seatecExplorerJust came back from a week and a half vacation with the 06 37C. Wow, there are a lot fo things wrong with this coach.
Some of the better ones
Coach is leaning far to the passenger side (loaded and unloaded)
had a leak underneath the fridge when the valve underneath the sink was turned on for the ice maker.
The latch on the entrance door sometimes doesnt work which makes it real interresting if you dont have a key with you for the driver side door. once you open the door from the inside it works fine for a bit until it locks up again.
Awing arm seems to bind when retrackting.
Paint is bubbling and peeling from the front of the coach on the nose plastic.
Who ever thoguht putting in that shower control oughta have his head examined. the lsighest movement and you bump the lever to full hot or cold leaving you jumping around the shower like a deranged squirrel.
The Cherry fiish is coming of the cabinets already in some places.
I get a distinct feeling that we got a early 05 06 model and it has seen a show or two before it was sold to us but i really cant prove that.
The drivers chair was bent to the right and i assume somebody closed the slide on the chair while it was moved fully to the rear when the slide was out.
bringing her inf for repairs this monday and report back. other than that. the Coach is awesome and i love camping with it.
PS somebody have a number for the Fleetwood service department. i think i might get some resistance from the dealership. - Meme_RayExplorerDC Brewer:
A number of us have had problems with our Dometic awnings. There seems to be potential for a problem only if you have a kitchen slide out and your WeatherPro awning is attached to the roof of your coach with extra brackes instead of being attached to the side of the coach. Here is a copy of an earlier post. Hope this helps.
PROBLEMS WITH DOMETIC AWNING ON 2004 PACE ARROW 37c
I am posting this in case anyone else is having problems with their Dometic weather pro awning with the wind and rain sensor features. Our awning has just never seemed to really dump rain water to our satisfaction and we even bent the main tube when water remained on the awning during an unexpected rain storm. We found out recently that we had mismatched awning parts and fabric from the factory which has caused our awning to not perform properly. Our 2004 37C was manufactured in late 2003. If you have a unit that matches this description you may want to check the following information out. If you have a the large Dometic WeatherPro awning that extends from the side door and over the kitchen slide and your awning is mounted on the roof and not the sidewall of the motor home you should look for a special number that is visible on the tube of your awning when the awning is fully extended. You will find a white sticker with some awning information on it located on the tube near the end that is nearest the front of the motor home. Look for a number that is hopefully 845 that indicates the length of the fabric on your motorhome. 845 is correct. If you have 815, 825, 835 your fabric could be the incorrect length for a roof mounted awning and it will not dump water properly. If you have already had to have your awning tube replaced because it bent from a previous problem try to verify what the numbers were on your original tube and not the replacement tube you now have. Our dealer was smart enough to keep our original awning tube sticker information with our service records when our tube was replaced back in July and this information helped verify that we had the wrong length awning material installed at the factory. These awnings are under warranty by the manufacturer for 3 years so don't delay contacting Dometic if you have this problem. Your time is running out.dcbrewer wrote:
Has anyone with full wall slide had the lock's at top of slide to break? We had one to break on way back from Myrtle Beach. Also awning tube is starting to sag, has anyone had this fixed under warranty? We have 06 Pace Arrow with auto awning. - dcbrewerExplorerHas anyone with full wall slide had the lock's at top of slide to break? We had one to break on way back from Myrtle Beach. Ugh, On my 37C I have aweful pressure....It's really only a pain in the kitchen, I have new filter in too.
I am running a pressure regulator on the hose though....is this causing my pee stream pressure?
Try a few things first. How old is your pressure regulator? They need to be replaced after a while. Try placing the pressure regulator on the rig side of the hose not on the campground side. (That is what helped me.) Clean the filter screens on each facets inside your rig. - FreshAirExplorer

I had same problem when using a regulator on the hose. I now only use it to check the pressure then remove it if the pressure is in the 50 to 60 lb. range or lower. I don't know what the plumbing in the MH is designed to handle.
