Paul... My 2004 tires are also cracking. Actually the left front is cracking really bad. The right is the next worse, then the two outside duals are less, but still cracking. I haven't gotten under to inspect the inside duals.

I called Michelin at their #800 number and complained. They said the tires are normally warrantied for 5 years, although I don't know if that includes premature cracking. They assigned me a File # and gave me a couple of dealers to take the moho in to have the tires inspected. Don't know as yet what Michelin will do, if anything. But I'm sure going to try. If they make good on them, fine. But if I end of having to replace them myself I'm switching to Goodyear. Goodyear at least gives a written four year warranty against premature cracking.

I replaced my dinette with a separate table /w standalone chairs. Fleetwood wanted over $850 for the table alone. So I shopped around and found an almost exact unfinished table. It was made from Alderwood, cost me $135.

After multiple sample tests on a separate piece of wood I ended up using One coat Minwax Sedona Red #222, then one or two coats Minwax Cherry #235, finish with Minwax Polyurethane Clear Satin. I let the first coat (Sedona Red) partially dry before adding the Cherry. Then I let the combined Sedona Red/Cherry dry a little longer before adding the second coat of Cherry. You cannot tell the difference from the rest of the coach.

Small cracks are considered acceptable but there are some actual specs on the Goodyear site and I believe they give you the maximum size - I won't quote them here as I may get them wrong.

You need to keep them moving and protected from the sun - stationary tires and sun exposure really eats into their expected life.

Moved RV last week and left unpluged about 10 days. Batteries drained down. Wouldn't even start. Thought everything was shut off. What exactly do the main and aux switches turn off. I have turned them off I thought before but I could still start engine So I guess the main doesn't kill the starting batter system Also turning off aux didn't seem to kill my 12v house lights . I thought throwing those switches would kill all power to coach thus putting no drain on Bat. That Solar panal doesn't seem to do crap. thanks GREG

With my back giving out I decided I won't be able to wash my 36D as often as I used to so I bought a cover at Camping World to try to keep it clean between trips.

I had a cover years ago and the hard part was getting it up on the roof. I used to put a step ladder next to my coach ladder and go up with it over my shoulder, but with my back I need to find a better way.

Anyone have a suggestion on how to get it up on the roof? My wife is available to help to a certain extent on the ground.

I too, had a leaning coach and when I brought it to the dealer; I was told it was with in specs.

I made an appointment with a spring shop and it took them all day to get it leveled. What the owner told me was that they would put spacers one at a time and see how it affects the changes to get it leveled. When you change one corner, the other three corners change also. So in fact that is what he did, I was there the whole time and I though he was BS me about being all day.

That means they would do the lowest corner and check it out, by dropping the unit off the jacks each time to get it right. All said and done, it cost me $495 and I got there at 8:15 and left at 4:25.

Now, I am ¾” off on the 4 corners. Before I went there, I loaded the coach with everything that I have including full gas, water and LP gas. I loaded my tools and all other junk that I may bring at any one time. Now, she is leveled.......

Well, here we go again.
I took the MH out for a small camping trip and had several more problems.
Had a leak on the kitchen slide. The kitchen slide had no power (before we had the leak). I did of course test all system before we embarked on the trip and all was fine. I checked fuses and brakers but all seemed fine. The coach, i am sorry to say is still leaning towards the passenger side. Only on the front axle mind you. The sag on the rear axle is the same on both sides. Made an appointment with Chesaco Rv in baltimore and they will take a look at it. I gotta tell ya, im not the biggest fan of this Coach right now but will give them one more chance to redeem them selves before i start making a big stink esspecially about the lean. The funny thing is when i looked at the coach and thought about buying it was when they told me that they where actually about to send the coach back to fleetwood because somebody else wanted it but i thought that was weird. I got side tracked and didnt think of that statement again. Now i am wondering if there was something wrong with that coach to begin with and they just found a sucker and got rid of it.
