Meme&Ray, when you said you had a loose valve stem, did you mean valve stem or valve extension? Also. has anyone been able to lube a squeeky brake pedal? Took the dash apart and still was not able to reach mine. Thank you.
Our problem was on the passenger front tire so it was just the valve stem. - Don_D_ExplorerMeme&Ray, when you said you had a loose valve stem, did you mean valve stem or valve extension? - saberExplorerWe had a problem getting our frig to come up to speed after it had been in storage for about 3 months. The ignitor would fire, but no light. I finally assumed when I checked the stove burners and they did not ;light right away that the gas line was empty. The frig would try to light but time out because of no light. I just turned the stove burners on until they lit (and pulled the gas through the line) and then the frig lit as usual.
- dnjsdadExplorerWe have decided to go back to boating and will be selling our 2005 37A we currently owe 99,000 and would be willing to sell for what we owe. Please let me know if anybody has any interest. Its full body painted in slate and has the full leather mate pkg. Also has the washer and dryer current mileage is about 7500. Thanks for your time.

I second the info needed on the baffle kit. - wa0mqeExplorerMeme&Ray... without having to dig to deep back in the forum, what does this baffle kit do? I've had some trouble getting the refrig to light on propane, especially after it's been setting in storage for awhile, but once it's lit it works fine. In my case I think it's gunk in the gas valve. I was going to buy a new one, but they want over $230 for one. Dometic's troubleshooting says to soak the gas nozzle in alcohol if you suspect problems with it, so I guess it wouldn't hurt to do the same thing to the gas valve, provided you pull the wirewound solenoid off first.
- wa0mqeExplorerPhelangroovy... that must have been quite a trip getting from the USA to Europe. Just curious, but what did it cost to ship the motorhome over the pond?
- FreshAirExplorerMeme&Ray,Sorry to hear about your on going problems. I guess we have been lucky so far as we have not had anything concerning since getting some minor build issues taken care of in the first few months after delivery. "knock on wood."
I was somewhat surprised to hear about your plug wire problems as I hadn't heard of the Pace Arrows with our grill design having that problem. I must have missed some post's. How soon did you start having burnt wires, I only have 13,000 miles on mine but haven't checked the wires. Good to see you had some help from WH.
Pat - Meme_RayExplorerJust thought I would touch base with everyone on recent happenings with our Pace Arrow.
We woke up to a flat tire on our last trip of the season. Turned out to just be a loose valve stem. The road service that helped us said that it is a common problem and the eventually they will get loose. We will probably just have this checked at the beginning of each year from now on when we de-winterize.
We are in the shop right now having a few warranty items taken care of. We have burned up several sets of spark plug wires this season. We had already upgraded to lifetime plug wires and were still burning them up. The dealer informed us we were driving too fast. Yeh, right. We did a little further checking on this forum and found the previous post concerning this problem and the information about the Workhorse air flow kit to correct for insufficient air flow over the spark plug wires. After we talked to the dealer they called Workhorse and were told that the air flow kit is an upgrade and not a recall or warranty item. We called Workhorse directly and they agreed to have the air flow kit installed on our PA free of charge. I really believe this is a Fleetwood design problem and not Workhorse's fault but I am grateful that they were willing to help us out.
We have also continued to have intermittent problems with running our refrigerator on gas while driving. Some trips it works fine and on others not at all and we resort to running the generator so that we can keep the refrigerator running on AC instead of gas. We have finally secured the air baffle kit from Dometic described earlier in the forum. Our dealer knew nothing about it and several calls to Dometic acknowledged the kit but said that it was for smaller refrigerators and not the side by side in the 37C. A third call to Dometic got me hooked up with someone that verified there was a baffle kit and that it would work on our refrigerator. They shipped us one that day free of charge. Hopefully this will finally fix our problem with the refrigerator.
We also replaced our house batteries after 4 full seasons. What kind of service length have you gotten on your batteries?
Our latest challenge is manifesting itself as a lighting problem. When we take our driver's side slide in and out we blow the fuse that operates the lights in the slide. The dealer is convinced that we have a pinched wire in the wiring harness for that slide. For now it is a minor inconvenience and we just pull that fuse before operating that slide but eventually other wires will probably be pinched and cause us other problems. The dealer is currently trying to get our extended warranty policy to pay for this repair. Parts and labor will be around $1500.00.
We are mothballed for the winter and are looking forward to getting back on the road again. Let us know how you are doing. - Paul_TurpinExplorerI was looking at cellular shades, cordless also at the cellular with remote to open and close the two large windows shades by the table and sofa. You can drive with them up or they have clips at the bottom to keep them from moving when down.
