- Cathy_JohansenExplorerWater Pressure - Help!
Does anyone have a problem with the water pressure in their 2004 37C? My water connection is without the restrictor and still, I have little pressure. The kitchen sink faucet doesn’t have enough pressure to keep the spray feature on. Is there a restriction in the system?
Mel - Meme_RayExplorerI purchased the bed board below to help out with the comfort of the sofa bed in the 37C. It did improve the comfort of the bed quite a bit. It eliminated the sagging toward the middle when two adults are on the bed and lessened the feeling of the supports. We are able to fold the bed board up (4 sections) and slip it in between the folds of the mattress (3 sections) and leave it there in storage when the bed is not in use. Installation is easy - when the bed is open you just unfold the bed board and slip it between the mattress and the tarp support. We only use the sofa bed occassionally for 2 adults (maybe 2x per year). We have 1 adult child who also uses this bed occassionally. For us it is a good inexpensive fix. The comfort on the bed is better but by no means a bed I would want to sleep on every night. The Vermont Country Store link for the item is included in the thread below.

We have noticed the same sagging sofa bed problem and have been searching for a solution. I just ordered a 30" wide bed board from The Vermont Country Store. The link for more information is below. I am hoping this will solve our sagging problem and that the board will easily store inside when the bed is folded as a sofa. If not I will store the bed board in the skinny space behind the sofa. I will let you know how it works out. For $30 bucks I figured it was worth a try. I have not been able to find anything like this in any local stores and have been searching for several months at places like Bed Bath and Beyond and Linens & Things.

We have discovered an issue with the sofa bed. Most sofa beds have that rather uncomfortable bar through the middle of the bed. Instead of having the bar to support the mattress, ours dips in the middle, horribly. There is no support for the center of the mattress. Whoever sleeps on the sofa bed can't help but roll to the center of the mattress, it is that bad!
Has anyone out there had this problem?
Thanks!!
I'm still trying to fix this same problem...the bed wouldn't be all that bad if it weren't for rolling to the middle... :? :( - dkingdoeExplorer

Well...maybe I'll order me one. I was just hesitant about spending that much $$ and then not be pleased with the mattress. Thanks!! :B
Yes. The mattress, uninflated is almost exactly like the one provided with the sofa--about 4.5" thick. When inflated, which takes about 25 secs., the mattress is about 11" thick and I would rate it as "firm". Pretty slick in that now sheets and everything fit--like a normal bed. - saberExplorerYes. Is the support good enough to keep you from rolling to the center?
Based on what we have read in this forum and first hand experience, we ordered the Air Dream mattress for the sofa bed in our 37C. Perfect fit, good support; well worth it. - saberExplorerBased on what we have read in this forum and first hand experience, we ordered the Air Dream mattress for the sofa bed in our 37C. - Fyr_guyExplorerbricot, we found that signage (billboards) told us well in advance of truck stops enroute along with prices in many instances. Having just come back through Oregon you'll be pleasantly surprised at fuel cost compared to your home state. I budgeted $3.30 a gallon which was the price here when we left and found my average price to be $2.75 with a low of $2.62 in Amarillo, TX. Not sure if the I-84 is an interstate but I expect you'll have no problems as we didn't encounter any in all our miles. Have a great time!
- bricotExplorerGood to hear, this will be our first long trip with the Ultrapower upgrade.
I was curious if they had any online or otherwise guide to the trucker stops so I could plan fuel ups in advance instead of doing the 65MPH fly-by....oh, there was one... :) We traveled this route last year but we had the TC towing the boat and it took some looking to find good fuel up sites for that combo... this year with the MH could be a bit more challenging. We will be traveling I-84 all the way up to the NE corner of the state to Joseph and will be camping at Wallowa lake for a couple weeks. - Fyr_guyExplorerbricot, we just got back from a 5,905 mile month long outing and we stayed close to the interstates and gassed up as the tank read at or close to 1/2 tank. We had no problems going to Flying J's, T/A's or truckers stops en route and that was with our car in tow. BTW, we had NO problems with the MH at all.
Of course we have used our frequently and had all the gremlins worked out. (until the new ones crop up) Another sidelight, our Ultrapower upgrade was phenomenal! It may have given us 1-2 MPG increase but the power was what impressed me and the wife. We hit headwinds in Minnesota, Wyoming and Colorado and the rig just pulled without the need of pedal to the metal. - bricotExplorerIs there a good source of information for planning your refueling stops for a trip? I'll be over 60' long and would be nice to be able to tell in advance which stations will accomodate that kind of length.
