I need to get behind the front over head speakers. Does anyone know how to remove the front speaker covers? They look like the the wood frame is pressed in but I don't want to start trying to pry it out and messing up the wood.
Paul ~ if your speaker cover's look like mine - there's a black cloth that covers a wood frame, & then all of that is Velcroed to the inset in the cabinet frame. You should be able to just gently pull that insert away. If you need a photo let me know & I'll go out & take one & try to post it.:h
Thanks guys, Monday I am taking my Pace in for the brake recall and I will try to remove the speaker cover. - Fyr_guyExplorerdkingdoe is correct Paul. you should be able to pry them off easy enough as their only held in by Velcro.

My 2004 Pace Arrow, 37C has a problem with the water heater. It works fine on propane, but not on electric. I had the switches checked and they are working. It was suggested that the heating element went bad. Do I have to pull the whole unit out to check the heating element?

Mel,
I am not at my 37C Pace right now, but last year I was under the pace working on it and I saw this trap door right under the water heater. There was a few screws holding it up. I took the screws out and the door opened up to the back of the water heater. I looked around in there and I believe there was wiring and the electric heating element back there.
Paul - LobstahExplorerI think my electrode is accessible right on the front of the heater, near the bottom. I believe you can get a replacement at just about any Home Depot or Lowes.
I would check in wires going to the electrode with a meter to make sure that the element has voltage on it.

I have a 2004 PA 37C and had the awning fabric replaced. However, I didn't go thru Fleetwood. I went thru AE Dometic. They sent the replacement fabric and extra wrapper slat to Lazy Days where I had it installed. That was about 4 years ago, but it's still worth a try. I did have to pay for the installation, but that was only approx $200. If nothing else, you can get just the fabric and slat rather than the whole awning.
Rich,
Talked with Dometic and they informed me they did pay for the first two or three that came to them. After they found out Fleetwood had changed the mounting point from the side to the roof Dometic stopped replacing the canvas. Can't say as I could expect Dometic to cover a Fleetwood problem.

Your maybe 5+yrs out of warranty. I'd be careful with the awning you have. Too bad it was noticed sooner. Rain is the big problem because it will not dump. Good luck.
The coach was out of warranty when I bought it. I am the second owner and guess the original owner didn't know about the problem. - Rich___Cheri_ExplorerI have a 2004 PA 37C and had the awning fabric replaced. However, I didn't go thru Fleetwood.
