Curious, are our rigs wired for a CB Radio. Has any body installed one?
My P/A was not wired for a CB but I just put one in last week. I went with the "mount on the glass" antenna because I did not want to put a hole in the side of the rig. These antenna do not work as good but good for what I need. The antenna has to be mounted on single glass window so I mounted it on the small window going across the top of the driver door. I left some slack in the wire so you can open the driver door. I got my 12V power from back of the cigar lighter. - runagroundExplorerCurious, are our rigs wired for a CB Radio. - runagroundExplorerEveryone should have this number. This is the company that stocks Fleetwood parts, fabrics, light fixtures, ect. If it is on your motorhome they should have it in stock (except Workhorse stuff). They are back East I forget the address. They are some sort of clearing house or supplier for Fleetwood manufacturing. From what I understrand they supply Fleetwoods warehouse.

1-260-724-0484 - Meme_RayExplorerWe have recently experienced a problem with our 2004 37C rear closet doors. One of the mirrored closet doors in the bedroom has come apart at the tongue and groove joint at the top corner on the hinge side and part of the wood frame has split. Basically these doors are made like picture frames with glass inserted as the picture. We are going to attempt to glue it back together and reinforce the corners with small L brackets. We plan to reinforce all 3 closet doors if this works to prevent this from happening again. Apparently the latches used on these closet doors put too much stress on the door frame or hinges. Last month we had another one of these doors pull the top hinge off the closet wall and we replaced the screws with larger ones.
I can't imagine what Fleetwood would charge to replace one of these doors and I hope I don't have to find out. Please check your doors for signs of stress.

Help. Somewhere there is a discussion of the dash bolts under the hood that have worked loose and a fix for that. I remember the pictures but forget the fix. Can't find the discussion. Anybody remember?
I was the one who posted about loose/broken screws under the hood causing the squeaky dash. I can't figure out how to post pictures to this forum, so I'll need to send pictures via email. Please send me a private message, with your email address included, and I'll send a picture.
Thanks Jim I thought it was you. I have found where the bolts go. I already have the larger bolts but they have worked loose. Probably will need to drill new holes to install new bolts.
Thanks - Jim_BakkerExplorer

The month is just a few months from waht you thought it was a few months ago. That's as close as I can get. If we really need to know, I could call a friend. I guess this is the post I was thinking about. I found it in the Pace Arrow forun on iRV2. No pics. However, there are no screws inside the hood, under the dash to the wall on mine. But there were a couple of screws under the dash inside the coach, laying on your back to see, that were attached to the sidewall, they were, I belived installed by my Expert??? dealer. They wore a hole in the sidewall and made a hell of a squeek. I took them out and all is well. If your getting a squeek from your dash and would like to PM me to find out the real cause of My squeek, feel free to do so. It's rather hard to explain it.

My dealer finally fixed the squeaky dash on my 2004 Pace Arrow, by replacing the undersized screws that attach the dash support to the sidewall. These screws are just inside the hood, on both sides. The originals were Phillips-head, and appeared to be #10 or #8 about 1 1/2” long. Many were broken off, some were missing, all the others were loose. They were replaced with hex-head screws which appear to be #6 by 1”.

Found it April of 06. - FreshAirExplorerI also remember it. It was on this thread, maybe two or three weeks ago. I think. I never could find the screws that were being refered to.
