Just found out that I have to stay in Ohio until Nov, I am going to get cold. Never had to stay in a cold area in a RV before. Has anyone out there stayed in their P/A when it can get to 20 - 30 degrees? Is there some areas in the P/A that I must watch out for freezing the water pipes? I have a extend-A-stay ordered so I can use outside propane tanks to keep the furnaces running and not have to move to get propane tanks filled.
I noticed that the rear bedroom furnace has a heater pipe to the basement, but it is in the very rear of the basement and I am concern about the fresh water tank, water pump and pipes up to the front of the basement.
Paul ~ we've not experienced those kind of temperatures, but I can tell you that when those temperatures are forecasted here, in the compartment where the fresh water tank (empty if possible) and the water pump are housed, we put a flood light with a 60w bulb on a timer so that it comes on during the coldest part of the day or night. This is something you could do in any compartment that has access to water lines. Wrap your water hose is pipe insulation. If your furnace is are running they will supply heat to that rear compartment.
Hope this helps. Stay warm!! :) - Paul_TurpinExplorerJust found out that I have to stay in Ohio until Nov, I am going to get cold. Never had to stay in a cold area in a RV before. Anyone have a price on them?
Here's something new. Same buddy had his slides become inoperable recently when we arrived at a campground and after several calls, they had hime check the ignition fuse (3 amp in the upper right side of the large black fuse box) it was blown and was replaced now everything worked until he went to his next destination so their appears to be a short somewhere. At least we now know where to check in the event slides fail to open or close. - saberExplorerHas anyone switched to the Alcoa Aluminum Wheels that are shown on the Workhorse site? We are sitting around 26,000 miles and I have about had it with the steel wheels from Brazil that standard.

It has been over a month since the last post. Hope everyone is out enjoying the summer and the comforts our Pace Arrows offer!!
Just having a great time traveling and enjoying our P/A. - Bird_FreakExplorer IIBrake problems, again. Brakes went out again. I called WH rep. and he told me we should flush our systems with fresh fluid every 2 yrs. I did and it was contaminated. This solve my over heating problems for now. I did have to replace both rear abs sensors in the rear.
Just a heads up to flush the brakes with fresh fluid.
Eddie - Rich___Cheri_ExplorerBased on seeing high end RV's with drain holes in their awnings, I put a 1/2" brass grommet in the center of my "new correct length" awning approximately 3" in from the roller seam. Finally had the chance, (by accident), to give it a good test to see if it would prevent pooling of water in the open awning. Went out for the day and left awning open. While out, a heavy downpour came through. Awning was fine and no pooling at all.

- Bird_FreakExplorer IIMy 37C has it under the washer. I had it replaced and the washer had to be removed.

I think the converter location varies, depending on the floor plan. On my 2004 36B it's below the cabinet under the vanity sink.
On our 2006 36B it's located below the bottom drawer in the middle section of drawers under the clothes closet.
