- ParrotguyExplorerShurflow Water pump
The Shurflow water pump stopped working in my '05 Pace 36D. It is one of their latest high end variable speed pumps called Extreme Series 5.7. The motor runs but it doesn't pump water.
I went to Camping World and found out it costs $193, but also that it comes with a 3 year warantee, which surprised me.
I called Shurflow, they said to send it to them and they will repair or replace it. I needed a pump in the interim and bought a $65 pump which works fine (not that much difference). When they return the pump I plan to keep the cheaper pump as a spare.

Had the same problem. Fixed it by replacing the valve extenders. Not only would they not work woth the Pressure Pro, it was difficult to get a reading with a tire guage. Part of the problem on the left rear was I am sure caused by the mud flap in front of teh tires wearing down and striking the valve extender with the piece that fit between the tires. Had them replaced with high quality ones by a Michelin dealer.
Thanks for the tip. We will try some new valve extenders.

- Meme_RayExplorerWe are having a couple of odd things happen with our MH that maybe someone has an answers to. Let us know if you have any ideas.
1. The last few times out we keep blowing the fuse that controls the dinning side lights. Any ideas?
2. The DC outlet in the co-pilot area has discontinued working but the one on the dash is still functional.
3. We bought a Doran Pressure Pro earlier this season and can't get it to work properly on the inside rear wheels. There is probably some incompatibility with the valve extenders and Doran says they can help us if we can tell them what brand the extenders are. We can't find any markings on the extenders and we weren't given any literature on them from the dealer. Does anyone know what brand these extenders are or does anyone have the Doran Pressure Pro and solved the problem we are having already?
Thanks for your help.

Until you find the problem with your slide, may consider cutting a 2x4 to fit on top of the slide inside the cab to wedge it against the side to keep from it moving out during travel. If you use this procedure, don’t forget to remove it before activated the slide. Good Luck.......... - Paul_TurpinExplorer

Hi I have a 2006 37C, Did 12,000 miles on it in USA last year & 5,000 miles through Europe this year (caused a bit of a stir). Now keep it at my home in Ireland. It is a beautiful machine and we are very happy with it. One niggling problem, the living area slide moves out about 1 1/2 inches when travelling. Checked the break on the motor and it is engaged but the handle feels loose. Not a major problem but I have to pull the slide back tight each time I stop. Anyone else have this problem?
Very few workhorse or fleetwood dealers in Ireland so I am on my own with this one.
If you have Power gear slideouts go to www.powergearus.com and go to the tipsheet. They have good info and a 1-800 number to call if you can't find the answer on the troubleshooting page.
Good luck.
Paul
PS. It sounds like a bad motor (gears or break) to me. That is the only thing that keeps the side in. - PhelangroovyExplorerHi I have a 2006 37C, Did 12,000 miles on it in USA last year & 5,000 miles through Europe this year (caused a bit of a stir). Here's a heads-up to keep this annoying problem from happening to you. We were driving through a rainstorm when suddenly the wipers stopped moving. Turns out the nut that holds the bellcrank to the wiper motor shaft had fallen completely off! You can bet I'll be checking this everytime I'm under the hood to check the oil. - tuff_lyfExplorer

I have to bring my living room slide in by bumping the switch a little at a time.[ my battery is up] once I get past the hump it,s ok anyone else have this problem? worried one day won,t come in at all . thanks greg
Mine did the same thing and I replaced the motor and that fixed it...
You might want to try this before replaceing the motor..
Lube the slides and see if that helps any...
The storage area under that slide is big.. Take everything out and see if that helps any... If it does, start putting the stuff back a little at a time and see what happens...
Good Luck... - glewisExplorerI have to bring my living room slide in by bumping the switch a little at a time.[ my battery is up] once I get past the hump it,s ok anyone else have this problem? worried one day won,t come in at all . thanks greg
