AJR has a good point about storage. Can't have too much, because you will find stuff to put in it.
But make sure you do more research than just numbers. 100 cubic feet sounds like a lot, but not if access to it is only through an 11" x 22" door. Our 27QB has doors big enough, I can store my spare tire in the storage area. Think about what you have or will have and try to place it in your coach.
We would look at RV's and try to get past the 'bling'. I dismissed a smallish toilet once....never again. We sit on the throne of every RV we thought about buying. Go thru the motions....made sure it worked. Same with the shower. Climbed inside every one of them and worked through my routine. You'd be surprised how many 'look' big enough, but won't let you do your feet.
When looking at comparable RV's, the more slides, the bigger the hit on your CCC and towing capacity. But slides do make a difference for extended stays, no doubt. That being said, though, if you need more than 1 or 2 slides for your space, a class C probably won't cut it. You just reach a physical constraint point where you have to have a 22,000lb chassis and probably should be looking at Class A's.
On class C's, Chevy has better sitting space in the cockpit than Ford. Also, warranty is longer on the drive train. We do find the Chevy to be louder in the cockpit....but that could just be old age and my intolerance of noise. :)
We've had both Ford and Chevy and in our opinion, the stock setup with Chevy rides better. Probably why it can't tow as much. But your backside will tell you which one you prefer.
Again, just my opinion.
