I found the window over the headboard during cold conditions dropped cold air onto my heard and if I did not cover my head I got headaches from it. In hot weather that area was very warm in the summer. I put insulation over the window to slow down the thermal transfer.
Just yesterday I thought I saw my last rig on the road because they had done the same thing I did. But it was a Chevy chasses.
Same here. On our old motorhome Herself took insulation board and covered it with fabric to match the bedspread. Then inserted it into place over the window. No more cold heads.
The side windows weren't a problem in colder weather because of the space between the bed and the wall. It was just that pesky window above the head of the bed.
