Looking for Trip Suggestions
I know it's early but we're in the planning stages for a Mid-Western trip instead of our normal PNW summer. However, since I've never make this loop in an RV I'm looking for some suggestions.
We should hit Butte, MT in mid to late June than turn east instead of West. Looking at taking I-86 into WI than loop North through Northern MI before heading S. to New Orleans or so. The only dates that are important will be Branson, MO in Sept than Albuquerque, NM mid-October.
So, we have about 3 months to kill. I would like to find some nice RV/Golf resorts along I-86, northern MN, WI, and MI. We will stop in Traverse City, MI and visit friends for a week or so but the rest of the trip is pretty open.
Since our main recreation is Golf, we would like our stops to put us in the vicinity of some nice 19 hole courses. The other caveat is that we like to avoid major cities.
