AJR, thank you. You bring up good points. As far as sleeping on the dinette table, we have an older daughter and two younger twin girls who often sleep together on their twin size bed even though they have their own rooms, so they would do just fine on the dinette table bed.
I was also curious about the tires, why not just replace all six instead of only four. Thanks to these posts my original list of items to inspect and question is growing. Thanks for the great advice.
By the way, how was your experience with buying from a private seller? I have always bought all of my vehicles from dealers so I have no experience with private sellers. On RV Trader I have found some nice RVs for sale from private sellers but I am hesitant because I have no experience with this.
I bought my RV from a private seller. I did my own inspection and made my offer from that point. I saved about $15,000 from anything I had seen at a dealer. I fixed everything myself for less than $500. The internet is a great tool. You can find information on how to fix almost anything.
On a used RV you will get little or no warranty. With any RV things are going to go wrong. If you have to depend on a dealer to fix everything be prepared to spend some bucks.
