The length of the unit and interior set up depends on your family size and use. I would suggest that you go to manufacturer's websites to see what interior set up you would be comfortable with. Remembering that you cannot have everything perfect. Next find a seasoned RV'er friend to go with you when you check out these used class C's. Some may look great, but there may be some things that you miss that your friend would not. Most important drive it to check handling and any engine problems. Ads in papers and internet always sound good and my look good but need to be checked out carefully. Do not be in a hurry unless you find the right one quickly. Good luck
