Lost keys...

Very few stores have door blanks for Motor homes Some of the places I've found them (Tri-mark lock on my RV)

Selected RV stores may have them .. IF they make keys

A locksmith on Sahara in Los Vegas about 2 miles west of the strip (Only locksmitin in the 1-7 mile range so if you are there)

A chain of hardwar stores "Do It".

Some major locksmith places like Fred's in Detroit.. IF it's been made, odds are Fred's has the blank.

These are to be taken as "examples" of places you might find keys... No guarantees.

You can also order new keys from Tri-Mark.. EXPENSIVE

goufgators, AstroRig57 gave you supurb info as did some of the others, here is an add on just incase. Winnebago keeps a file of the key codes for all their vehicles, to find out the code or order a new set, contact W.I.

I went to the local keyshop, not more than 10' X 20', they had the Ilco blanks for our Trimark locks. The door key blank is KS101 and the deadbolt blank is KS201. There was a $1.00 surcharge for the spares. So for the ten keys I bought, it cost me $20. Now there is a set in everyone of our vehicles and one in the key locker in the garage. The original keys also had the cut code but were so worn that they wouldn't work in every lock.

A hint, I am notorious for losing or misplacing keys so I have a full set of keys for the RV and the Towed in a hidden place in the rig. I took a entry and cabinet key and drilled a hole in a piece of sheet metal under the hood, using a screw and wingnut, I mounted the key out of site but in an accessable spot. Now we can get in and all of us know the location of the spare keys. We have the RV, two toweds, a DD, and the various towing locks, so the number of keys is pretty high.

Also, since I note that the OP has an Itasca, IF you have the original manuals and paperwork that came with your Winnebago product you can find the key codes on a sheet that says "Motor Home Component Information" It can be found in the Winnebago document case with the manuals as well as usually being attached to the back of the "Motor Home Weight Information" sheet that is usually attached in a closet or cupboard.

It lists in this order and format:
Ignition Key Ford xxxxx
Deadbolt Key Trimark xxxxx
Main Door Key Trimark xxxxx
Compartment Door Lock Strattec xxxxx

....followed by the model and serial numbers of virtually every appliance and component originally installed in the RV.

I've made copies of both documents and laminated them, front to back, and keep one on the wall in the wardrobe, one in the document case, and one in a file box at home.

I've used WM's self-service key making machines. Pretty slick - but maybe not for RV keys.

I went to Walmart and has an extra set of keys made for mine. Engine compartment, bay doors, dead bolt, door, ignition, tow bar, etc. There's nothing special about M/H keys.

The OP may have solved his problem, but for future reference you can usually order TriMark keys, by the specific key code, direct from TriMark on their eBay page. I've obtained duplicate sets for both my old and current motorhomes in such a manner.

When I was looking for keys, I tried the cheap route as well by going to various hardware stores. Finally went to a locksmith, he had everything, cut new keys that worked better then the originals. He also told me my original keys were hand filed, so maybe the dealer lost the original set.

I had to go to a real locksmith to get a key for a Jayco.

When I needed spare keys for my Winnebago, no locksmith had the Trimark blanks. I finally located a code on the key and with the Trimark website found the part number for the proper blank. I ordered the blanks on ebay and had a local locksmith cut them.
