Checked the tranny cold and it's good
You can generally know the level between hot and cold once you know your machine.
Fluid condition is great and no discoloration or odors
Just making sure you checked the basics. :)
I have a 96 Southwind on the P30 chassis. It has a slight hum at around 35-40 mph. I thought it was the Hankook tires but, I changed the steer tires to Cooper and the hum is still present. I don't what is causing the noise, it's not annoying and does not bother me.
It's gone at higher speeds. I had two mechanics check it, they both said it was the tires.
Let us know if you find the cause.
Enjoy your travels.
