My personal preference would be the higher mileage DP. I've had both (a 1996 gas 37ft tag axle F53 chassis 460) and the current DP (in signature below).
My HR Endeavor is built on a Freightliner chassis so no problem in getting parts, but it seldom needs any.
My suggestion is to drive a few of both categories. Once you decide on a few candidates, come back here for more specific ideas of what to expect.
