+! what J-Rooster said. Gassers are manufactured in several qualities aimed at (1) weekenders, short vacations, (2) mid grades for more extensive use, and (3) full time use. The quality of the counter tops, furniture, and fabric is the major difference. When you compare full timer quality gas to diesel units there is little difference except the engine. However, gas units will have a lighter frame and will be limited to 5,000 pounds tow in most cases.
Also check the wheelbase. Generally the floor plan should dictate your decision, however if the wheelbase is less than 55% of total length the relatively few hours you spend driving (compared to living in) could be unpleasant.
Finally, "ask the man who owns one". After you find a unit you like ask for owner comments. At some point your education has to end and a decision has to be made. Unlike new, used units are usually one-shot buying opportunities - unless you have lots of time to wait for another to come up.
