Low mileage gasser or high mileage diesel
I know there is more to consider than just mileage but wondering what the class A experts think. I am talking about late 1990 to early 2000 motorhomes. If everything else in a rv was pretty much even than what is the better choice? A gasser with say 30-40k or a diesel north of 100k say 110-130k.
My Ram diesel had a 155k on it and was still running strong. All factory and original tranny. I would think these bigger diesels would be much more complicated and more to maintain as they get older and rack up mileage.
This rv would be used for weekends once or twice a month and a summer stay in the North country traveling from Florida to Mt. or Wy. or somewhere cool. There would be a lot of static time.
I am interested in hearing from those with real life experience. Of course all input is welcome
Thanks
