A Extend-A-Stay or Stay-A-While (Extend-a-stay was the name back when Marshall Brass Made it, Stay-A-While is by Mr, heater, appears identical).
Put it between your tank valve's POL fitting and your regulator.. And you can feed in propane from an external tank when you need to.
Works good too.
