My LTV Libero has the high microwave and under the microwave is a pull out shelf. It is for exactly this situation. Perhaps someone with the Unity can address whether their unit has the same thing. Or perhaps check the videos online at their website. - dlr33ExplorerWe were looking at the Murphy bed option but decided to look elsewhere because of the high location of the microwave above the refrigerator. Bringing down hot liquids from high over one's head did not seem a safe thing to do. We are now exploring other floorplans in the Winnebago world.
- ClassBGirlExplorerHitchup: We have the MB option on our Regency, and you are right. It is really livable. Ours is basically the same interior as the Unity MB just different chassis underneath. The Murphy bed really frees up the interior space, and we love the large shower/dressing area. We have toured out west for six weeks and loved every minute.
- Horizon170ExplorerIf my ship ever comes in to port AND if I'm not waiting at the Airport, the twin bed Unity is what we will get. We are partial to "B's" but the Unity fills the bill for all our camping needs. Small size and yet enough room for two to live in for an extended stay Plus it is strong enough to tow a Wrangler HT. I want to get a wrangler to replace my BAJA. Oh and the completely across outside storage is the cats MEOW for our Surf rods and other fishing gear.
I think this is truly in the class of "B" plus.:) - mumkinExplorerI suspect that this thread will soon move to the Class C branch as it is not a Class B. (built on a cut-away, not inside a van)
I have an LTV Libero and love it. It is hard to beat LTV quality, and as someone else said, they are great to work with and are at the end of the phone to help out when you have questions. It is a family company and we owners are part of the family. - hitchupExplorerWe got to look through a few of their floor plans while up in MN. Found the MB option and larger bath really livable.
If we decide to downsize and can afford one, we may go that route. - NCWriterExplorerI also own a Leisure product and agree with all said about quality of their work. Also easy to get info from the factory when you have some minor problem to solve.
- ClassBGirlExplorerThe Leisure Travel Van Unity is made by an awesome small company in Winkler, Canada. We have toured the factory, and they make a high quality RV with attention to detail, fit, and finish, and wonderful customer service. The factory runs Monday through Friday, one shift only, and many of the workers have worked there for years and are very proud of their finished RV's. We have a 2012 Regency GT24 MB (small Class C/B+) made by Triple E which merged with Leisure and sadly our particular unit is no longer made. We love our rig and have had no issues with it. We have a friend with the Unity Twin Bed, and he absolutely loves it.
