Well just an update the dipstick tube was the problem. It cracked completely off inside the generator. Had repair guy out to fix it. There ia a new design where the metal meets the rubber tube. New tube, oil change, fuel filter change, air filter, 2 new belts, tensionner, new brushes, labor and complete cleaning 650.00 good for another 8 yrs I hope
