Maceators
Anyone out there using one of these? Do they make dumping easier? Are they worth purchasing? Suggestions welcome.

If your rig is smaller, you can always see about having a sewage clean-out installed, so you can use a macerator pump to dump your rig at home. The caveat is: Call it a sewage clean-out... not a dump station.
Two caveats:
Macerator pumps will burn out lickety-split when run dry. I like having a clear plastic sleeve to see when to turn mine off before the pitch goes up.
Make sure you have enough amperage. I have a dedicated poop battery for my trailer instead of having to use the RV's house batteries.
