During the 70's (first gas crunch) it was to put two cow stomach magnets on your gas line but make sure you have one taped to each side this was they could work their magic and change the molecule's of the gas for that extra 20%.
Did I try it, sure. Did I tell other folks about it, sure. Did it work?? Of course not but when gas went from 24.9 to almost 35 cent's you'd try anything.
