- JimM68ExplorerDave, probably too late, but I have one i'll sell cheap.
I upgraded mine to the ME-arc to support AGS and BMK, and have my good working original available. - SacsTCExplorer

I agree with Don. I would also call Magnum and they may suggest other things to try.
They walked me through diagnosing a failed inverter and then sent us a new one even though the original was defective.
Duh, just read this post...The original was out of warranty. - DSDP_DonExplorerDave....Thanks for posting back. Most everything we use has some type of computer in it. Rebooting is often the easiest repair. On occasion, the Magnum displays have had the crazy symbol issue, which was repaired by unplugging the data plug. Unfortunately, yours was not the simple.

"Spring Street"....if you mean no longer legible as in a bunch of gobbly gook, that is easily repaired. Go out to the inverter and disconnect the J-12 plug, looks like a phone jack. Wait 10 seconds and reconnect. This usually clears the display.
Don wanted to let you know I tried the J-12 plug like you recommended and it did help faintly, so I'm happy I ordered a new one, which will be here by Monday ! Thanks Dave - SacsTCExplorerI agree with Don. I would also call Magnum and they may suggest other things to try.

- dkreuzenExplorerGo to Amazon.com and enter "Magnum Energy remote" in the search field. Is yours one of them?

No Don there is no gobbly gook, just a plain screen. All the other lights work. So will disconnecting the J-12 still work or do i need to replace the ME=RC50 ? A fellow at another site sent me a link where I can get one for $141 and they are in stock !
